With those on Wall Street holding their breath ahead of talks between U.S. and Chinese officials in London on Monday, the stock market turned lower after it opened just above breakeven.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 77 points, or 0.2%. The S&P 500 was down 0.1%. The Nasdaq Composite was up slightly.
Tariffs continue to be the big story on Wall Street, though updates on consumer and producer price inflation are coming on Wednesday and Thursday, respectively.
