The stock market continued to languish in the August doldrums at the start of Tuesday’s session.
The S&P 500 was down 0.1%, while the Nasdaq Composite dropped 0.5%. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 161 points, or 0.4%
The yield on the 2-year Treasury note was down to 3.76%, while the 10-year yield was down to 4.32%.
