Stocks ticked up to start the day on Thursday after Wall Street got a peek at the labor market ahead of tomorrow’s August nonfarm payrolls report.
The S&P 500 was up 0.2%. The Nasdaq Composite was up 0.1%. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 50 points, or 0.1% after opening lower.
The yield on the 2-year Treasury note was down to 3.61%. The 10-year yield was down to 4.19%.
