Bond trading will halt on Tuesday. The stock market will be business as usual.

The U.S. bond market will close Tuesday, Nov. 11, in observance of Veterans Day. Stock markets will maintain normal hours that day.

Both markets will close next for Thanksgiving, which falls on Nov. 27. Trading will resume on Nov. 28 but wrap up early, at 1 p.m. for stocks and 2 p.m. for bonds.

Ahead of Christmas, the stock market will break at 1 p.m. and the bond market at 2 p.m. on Dec. 24. Both will stay closed through the Dec. 25 holiday.

Traders will finish the year with a bit more downtime. Both markets will close on Jan. 1 for New Year’s Day, and bond trading will end at 2 p.m. on Dec. 31.
