Walmart is set to top $900 billion in market value today, making it the second retailer in the world of such large size.
Walmart stock is trading at $114.01 in midday trading. If it closes anywhere above $112.883 it will become a $900 billion company.
It’s an exclusive club of sorts. Only 11 other U.S. companies have crossed that threshold. Amazon is other retailer, with store presence, to close above that milestone. Other companies include Apple, Microsoft, Nvidia, Tesla, Berkshire Hathaway, Alphabet, Meta Platforms, Broadcom and more.
