NEW DELHI: Power stocks were trading lower on Friday at 10:29AM
Indo Tech Transformers Ltd.(up 5.44%), Power and Instrumentation(Gujarat)Ltd.(up 4.93%), Transformers & Rectifiers(India)Ltd.(up 3.98%), Kalpataru Projects International Ltd.(up 0.85%), GE T&D India Ltd.(up 0.27%), Voltamp Transformers Ltd.(up 0.11%), KEC International Ltd.(up 0.10%) and Karma Energy Ltd.(up 0.08%) were among the top gainers.
Reliance Power Ltd.(down 3.32%), Orient Green Power Company Ltd.(down 3.10%), Energy Development Company Ltd.(down 3.08%), Jyoti Structures Ltd.(down 3.01%), KPI Green Energy Ltd.(down 2.85%), SJVN Ltd.(down 2.62%), Suzlon Energy Ltd.(down 2.19%), Adani Power Ltd.(down 2.17%), NHPC Ltd.(down 1.96%) and PTC India Ltd.(down 1.86%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 130.45 points down at 21865.4, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 422.16 points at 72066.83 at around 10:29AM.
ITC Ltd.(up 1.21%), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 1.03%), Grasim Industries Ltd.(up 0.97%), Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(up 0.96%), Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(up 0.55%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 0.49%), HDFC Bank Ltd.(up 0.44%), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(up 0.17%), Tata Steel Ltd.(up 0.16%) and ICICI Bank Ltd.(up 0.08%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Bajaj Auto Ltd.(down 3.35%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 2.37%), Axis Bank Ltd.(down 2.26%), Tata Motors Ltd.(down 2.08%), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(down 1.79%), LTIMindtree Ltd.(down 1.58%), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 1.47%), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 1.47%), Infosys Ltd.(down 1.3%) and HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 1.29%) were trading in the red.
