NEW DELHI: Mining stocks were trading higher on Monday at 11:15AM
Ashapura Minechem Ltd.(up 4.09%), MOIL Ltd.(up 3.99%), Aro Granite Industries Ltd.(up 3.68%), 20 Microns Ltd.(up 2.13%), KIOCL Ltd.(up 1.66%), Lexus Granito(India)Ltd.(up 1.61%), Coal India Ltd.(up 1.49%), Sandur Manganese & Iron Ores Ltd.(up 1.18%), The Orissa Minerals Development Company Ltd.(up 0.96%) and NMDC Ltd.(up 0.87%) were among the top gainers.
Madhav Marbles & Granites Ltd.(down 1.57%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 134.75 points up at 22281.75, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 371.07 points at 73459.4 at around 11:15AM.
Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 3.66%), Wipro Ltd.(up 2.46%), Eicher Motors Ltd.(up 2.44%), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(up 2.17%), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(up 2.12%), Axis Bank Ltd.(up 2.04%), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 2.04%), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(up 2.03%), UltraTech Cement Ltd.(up 1.89%) and Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd.(up 1.74%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, NTPC Ltd.(down 1.3%), HDFC Bank Ltd.(down 0.74%), JSW Steel Ltd.(down 0.25%), Nestle India Ltd.(down 0.11%) and ITC Ltd.(down 0.02%) were trading in the red.
