1. CFO at Marks Electrical announces resignation
A short note from Marks Electrical [LON:MRK] on what looks set to be a quiet day with US markets shut for the 4th July weekend. The electrical retailer has announced that the CFO is to stand down. There’s no replacement lined up and the incumbent will remain with the business to ensure a smooth transition, but if traders are looking for something to jump on the accompanying uncertainty here might well be it.
2. Full year numbers at Craneware set to miss targets
The AIM listed healthcare financial performance solutions provider Craneware [LON:CRW] issued a full year trading update this morning cautioning that it expects its performance to be below expectations with revenues and adjusted EBITDA now set to land in line with last year’s numbers. Slower than anticipated conversions at the end of the trading period are being singled out as the driver here, so this may yet prove to be a phasing question.
3. £0.8m write off as claim fails for Litigation Capital Management
Litigation Capital Management [LON:LIT] has noted that a claim it was funding has failed in its quest to appeal a competition claim loss. That’s going to lead to a £0.8m write off for the business which has seen its share price struggle in recent years. With a market cap if just £2.25m this might hurt…
