Here’s what CNBC TV’s producers were watching as chip stocks rallied Thursday, and what’s on the radar for the next session. Delta Air Lines The company will release quarterly numbers live on ” Squawk Box ” in the 6 a.m. hour. Delta shares are up 31% in three months. The stock is down 7% from the July 2 high. CEO Ed Bastian will also be on “Squawk Box” at 7 a.m. ET with live reaction to the numbers. For comparison purposes, Southwest Airlines is up 22% in three months. Shares are down 10% from the February high. American Airlines is up 50% in three months. The stock is off 9% from the July 2 high. JetBlue is up 20% in three months. The stock is down 9% from the February high. It closed at trading at $5.92 a share on Thursday. United Airlines is up 32% in three months. Shares are off 7% from the June 30 high. Alaska Air is up 25% in three months. The stock is down 24% from the September high. DAL 3M mountain Delta Air Lines in the past three months South Korea U.S.-traded shares of SK Hynix will debut on the Nasdaq Friday. The shares right now are priced at $149 apiece. SK Hynix makes up about 25% of the weighting on the iShares MSCI South Korea ETF (EWY) . EWY is up 90% so far in 2026, but it’s down 16% from the high hit three weeks ago. Chey Tae-won, SK Group’s chairman, will be live on ” Squawk on the Street ” in the 10 a.m. hour. Jim Cramer of “Mad Money” said there’s upside here, but investors should be ready for volatility. Taiwan Semi’s monthly sales come out Friday The stock is down 9% from the June 30 high. Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing is up 43% so far in 2026. TSM YTD mountain Taiwan Semi in 2026 The refiners CNBC TV’s Pippa Stevens will report on the energy complex and focus on the refiners. While the Strait of Hormuz remains problematic for energy, the war between Russia and Ukraine is also causing large scale disruptions for Russian oil. That’s leading to higher diesel prices and refining issues. Valero hit a new high on Thursday. Shares are up 5% in four days. Marathon Petroleum hit a new high Thursday. The stock is up 6.4% in four days. Phillips 66 hit a new high in the session. The stock is up 7.6% in four days. Grok SpaceXAI is releasing Grok 4.5 . SpaceX has now been trading for four weeks. The stock ended Thursday’s session at $152.16 a share. It closed at $160.95 on its first day of trading. The stock was high as $225.64 a share on June 16. It is down 32% from the high point. CNBC TV’s Seema Mody will report on Friday. SPCX 5D mountain SpaceX shares in the past five trading days We’ll do it live The Wall Street Journal reported Thursday night that Netflix is looking at doing live programming. It’s not quite clear what that could look like. The stock is down 41% in 12 months. We’ll look at Netflix throughout the day on CNBC Friday, starting at 5 a.m. on ” Morning Call ” with Morgan Brennan. “You’re Welcome” Disney releases the live-action version of “Moana” in theaters Friday. Shares are down 22% from the July 2025 high. Disney closed Thursday at $96.17 a share. To quote the key track from “Moana,” titled “You’re Welcome”: “Don’t mess with Maui when he’s on a breakaway!”
