Stock Futures Hold Gains After Weaker-Than-Expected Jobs Report

The economy added 12,000 jobs this October, below economists’ call for 112,500 and September’s 223,000, which the Bureau of Labor Statistics revised a bit lower. To be sure, this is extremely low jobs growth and doesn’t speak to an economy firing on all cylinders, but it’s still growing.
