Synopsis
Technically, the index on a daily scale has formed a Doji candle near its 200-Days exponential moving average (DEMA) support indicating uncertainty. The 200-DEMA is placed around 23,540.
The 23,500-23,540 range will act as an immediate support zone for the index. A strong break below 23,500, will push the index further lower to 23,300-23,200 levels, where a trend line support is placed. Overall, the short-term trend is down, but as long as Nifty holds above 23,500, a pullback rally could be possible, said Hrishikesh Yedve of Asit C. Mehta Investment Interrmediates.
In the open interest (OI) data, the highest OI on the call side was observed at 23,600 and 23,700 strike prices, while on the put side, the highest OI was at 23,500 strike price followed by 23,550.

Delhivery Q2 Results: Co posts Rs 10 cr profit vs YoY loss
Gurugram-based Delhivery posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 10 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2024 against a loss of Rs 103 crore in the year ago period. However, the profit was down by 81% from Rs 54 crore reported in the June 2024-ended quarter.
The consolidated revenue from operations stood at Rs 2,190 crore which was up by 13% over Rs 1,942 crore posted by the logistics and supply chain company in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. On the sequential basis, the revenue was up by 0.80% versus Rs 2,172 crore reported in Q1FY25.
Gold slide continues; tanks Rs 700 to Rs 77,050 per 10 grams
Gold prices saw yet another steep fall on Thursday, with the precious metal declining Rs 700 to Rs 77,050 per 10 grams in the national capital amid subdued demand trend in the global markets, according to the All India Sarafa Association. The precious metal of 99.9 per cent purity closed at Rs 77,750 per 10 grams in the previous session, a day after falling marginally by Rs 50 on Wednesday.
Silver also plummeted Rs 2,310 to Rs 90,190 per kg against the previous close of Rs 92,500 per kg.
NFO Alert: Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund launches Infrastructure Index Fund
Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund on Thursday said it has launched its new open-ended index fund, the Aditya Birla Sun Life BSE India Infrastructure Index Fund, which would track the BSE India Infrastructure Total Return Index.
The New Fund Offer (NFO) will be available for subscription from 14th November 2024 to 28th November 2024.
The fund seeks to provide investors with exposure to India’s growing infrastructure sector, which is expected to see continued expansion due to significant government investment and economic reforms.
Unifi Capital gets Sebi’s nod to begin mutual fund operations
Portfolio management firm Unifi Capital on Thursday received the final approval from the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) to start its mutual fund operations through its unit, Unifi Asset Management Pvt Ltd.
The approval from Sebi would allow Unifi Asset Management to leverage its extensive experience in the investment space to offer tailored mutual fund solutions to investors, the company said in its filing, adding that it has assembled a team to lead the mutual fund’s operations, blending in-house expertise with strategic external hires.
Honasa Consumer Q2 Results: Mamaearth operator slips into red with Rs 19 crore YoY loss
Honasa Consumer on Thursday reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 19 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2024, versus a profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 29 crore reported in the year-ago period on the back of one-time inventory correction amid a shift in its distribution model.
The revenue from operations stood at Rs 462 crore, down by 7% over Rs 496 crore posted in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.
