Sensex Today | Stock Market Live Updates: Indian equity indices kicked off the first special session, being held on a Saturday, on a firm note. Both Sensex and Nifty hit fresh record highs today.
Commenting on the market trends, analyst Jatin Gedia of Sharekhan said that Nifty has broken out of a Running Triangle pattern on the daily charts, indicating the start of a fresh leg of upmove. The daily Bollinger bands have begun to expand and with prices trading along the upper band indicates that there could be sharp trending moves on the upside, this analyst said, adding that he expects Nifty to target levels of 23,000– 23,100 from a short term perspective.
