The stock market dropped again after Friday’s jobs report failed to overshadow tariff-driven uncertainty.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 170 points, or 0.4%. The S&P 500 fell 0.2%. The Nasdaq Composite was down 0.1%.
The U.S. economy added 151,000 jobs in February, which was below expectations at 160,000. But it was far from the kind of pullback that would scare markets or prompt the Federal Reserve to hasten its next interest-rate cut.
