Nvidia’s earnings announcement is almost upon us. With investors waiting for clues on the outlook for broader markets, stocks in Asia are mostly down after a gauge of the “Magnificent Seven” megacaps slid yesterday. US futures are largely steady today along with European contracts, after some of the world’s largest tech names pushed the S&P 500 down on Monday. And looking at Nvidia more closely, my colleagues Rya Jetha and Evan Gorelick report that many of the chipmaker’s employees have grown rich but still face a stress-filled work life.
