Navya Naveli Nanda

stands out from the majority of star kids who typically follow in their parent’s footsteps in the entertainment industry. Born to

Shweta Bachchan

, daughter of

Amitabh Bachchan

and

Jaya Bachchan

, Navya could have easily followed a film career. However, she has chosen a different path, opting to contribute to the growth of her father’s company.

Navya was featured in a CNBC-TV18 show where she spoke about her career aspirations and outlined her future business strategies.

Asked about her decision not to pursue a career in films like those of her grandparents, Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, Navya replied that both sides of her family have a rich heritage. On her father’s side, they have a four-generation history in business. While this might be surprising for some, it doesn’t pose a challenge for her; she finds it to be a familiar and straightforward path.

Navya Naveli Nanda also revealed that she was raised in Delhi by her paternal grandfather and father. From a young age, she was engaged in discussions about stock markets and tractors, shaping her understanding of business dynamics. Limited exposure to Mumbai meant she never visited film sets; consequently, her interest in the film industry never grew. Drawing inspiration from the business sense of the women in her family, Navya set her sights on pursuing a career as a businesswoman.

Navya described the lessons she learned while travelling across the country and said that farmers no longer want to spend hours in the fields. They want products that make their lives easier, and that’s what they are for.
