India bond yields steady; 10-year stays below 6.85%
Indian bond yields started the week on a flattish note, as the rise last week drew in investors, even though an upbeat jobs report diminished the possibility of a large rate cut in the United States.
The benchmark 10-year bond yield was at 6.8407% as of 10:00 a.m. IST, compared with its previous close of 6.8339%. The yield has held under the 6.85% level for nearly a month.
