Nearly every company has seen a growth in rural but metros has seen a slowdown. To me if it was rainfall, it should have impacted both urban and not just rural. So, these are companies with a turnover of over Rs 50 million. Those are the ones that have actually seen the sharpest deceleration. Part of the reason could just be inflation where larger companies have been struggling to readjust pricing.
While discretionary consumption has been slow, QSR growth has struggled for growth.
QSRs are struggling because aggregators like Zomato and Swiggy are allowing smaller restaurants to compete.
