Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 looks set to move higher at the start of trade after U.S. stocks gained amid voting in the presidential election.
ASX futures are up by 0.7%, suggesting that the benchmark index will bounce from a 0.4% decline. The ASX 200 slipped on Tuesday as the country’s central bank held interest rates and again warned of persistently high inflation.
Ahead of the open, property group Goodman reaffirmed its annual earnings and distribution guidance as it continued to ramp up its data-center investments.
In the U.S., the DJIA rose 1.0%, the S&P 500 added 1.2% and the Nasdaq Composite gained 1.4%.
