NEW DELHI: FMCG stocks were trading higher on Tuesday at 09:59AM
Marico Ltd.(up 8.14%), Godrej Consumer Products Ltd.(up 6.34%), Bajaj Consumer Care Ltd.(up 5.29%), Future Consumer Ltd.(up 4.77%), Dabur India Ltd.(up 4.56%), Jyothy Labs Ltd.(up 3.58%), Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(up 3.50%), Colgate-Palmolive(India)Ltd.(up 3.29%), Procter & Gamble Hygiene & Healthcare Ltd.(up 2.79%) and Emami Ltd.(up 2.20%) were among the top gainers.
Bikaji Foods International Ltd.(down 2.05%), JHS Svendgaard Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.95%), Varun Beverages Ltd.(down 1.01%), Euro India Fresh Foods Ltd.(down 0.77%), LT Foods Ltd.(down 0.77%), Hatsun Agro Products Ltd.(down 0.59%), Dangee Dums Ltd.(down 0.56%), Tasty Bite Eatables Ltd.(down 0.36%), Dodla Dairy Ltd.(down 0.21%) and Patanjali Foods Ltd.(down 0.17%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 15.8 points down at 22426.9, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 105.2 points at 73790.34 at around 09:59AM.
Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(up 3.5%), Britannia Industries Ltd.(up 2.19%), ITC Ltd.(up 2.03%), Nestle India Ltd.(up 1.88%), Coal India Ltd.(up 1.55%), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(up 1.36%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 1.34%), Eicher Motors Ltd.(up 0.93%), Asian Paints Ltd.(up 0.9%) and Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 0.73%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 1.81%), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(down 1.34%), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 1.23%), Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(down 1.16%), Divi’s Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.97%), JSW Steel Ltd.(down 0.69%), HDFC Bank Ltd.(down 0.68%), Cipla Ltd.(down 0.67%), ICICI Bank Ltd.(down 0.62%) and UltraTech Cement Ltd.(down 0.61%) were trading in the red.
