NEW DELHI: Mining stocks were trading lower on Wednesday at 09:59AM
Oriental Trimex Ltd.(up 4.96%), Madhav Marbles & Granites Ltd.(up 1.99%), Ashapura Minechem Ltd.(up 1.31%), NMDC Ltd.(up 1.03%), Pokarna Ltd.(up 0.10%) and KIOCL Ltd.(up 0.09%) were among the top gainers.
Lexus Granito(India)Ltd.(down 2.31%), 20 Microns Ltd.(down 0.94%), Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation Ltd.(down 0.86%), MOIL Ltd.(down 0.45%), Sandur Manganese & Iron Ores Ltd.(down 0.39%), The Orissa Minerals Development Company Ltd.(down 0.24%), Coal India Ltd.(down 0.24%) and Aro Granite Industries Ltd.(down 0.10%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 13.75 points down at 22184.6, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 34.88 points at 73060.34 at around 09:59AM.
Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(up 1.64%), Tata Motors Ltd.(up 0.8%), Infosys Ltd.(up 0.72%), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(up 0.68%), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(up 0.55%), State Bank of India(up 0.46%), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 0.43%), Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(up 0.37%), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 0.31%) and Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 0.18%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Asian Paints Ltd.(down 1.67%), Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(down 1.59%), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(down 1.26%), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(down 1.12%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 1.11%), Eicher Motors Ltd.(down 1.04%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 0.98%), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 0.77%), Wipro Ltd.(down 0.6%) and Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(down 0.59%) were trading in the red.
