NEW DELHI: Mining stocks were trading higher on Monday at 10:44AM
MOIL Ltd.(up 8.39%), Coal India Ltd.(up 1.52%), NMDC Ltd.(up 1.39%), Lexus Granito(India)Ltd.(up 1.37%), The Orissa Minerals Development Company Ltd.(up 0.44%), Aro Granite Industries Ltd.(up 0.36%), Sandur Manganese & Iron Ores Ltd.(up 0.28%) and Pokarna Ltd.(up 0.17%) were among the top gainers.
Madhav Marbles & Granites Ltd.(down 4.99%), 20 Microns Ltd.(down 2.41%), Oriental Trimex Ltd.(down 2.20%), KIOCL Ltd.(down 1.90%), Ashapura Minechem Ltd.(down 1.45%) and Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation Ltd.(down 0.36%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 50.05 points up at 22428.45, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 157.53 points at 73963.68 at around 10:44AM.
NTPC Ltd.(up 3.84%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 2.44%), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 2.41%), Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd.(up 2.28%), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 2.1%), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 1.77%), Coal India Ltd.(up 1.55%), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(up 1.34%), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 0.98%) and Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 0.81%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, JSW Steel Ltd.(down 2.41%), Eicher Motors Ltd.(down 1.87%), Tata Steel Ltd.(down 1.45%), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 1.18%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 1.02%), Titan Company Ltd.(down 0.92%), UltraTech Cement Ltd.(down 0.9%), LTIMindtree Ltd.(down 0.79%), Britannia Industries Ltd.(down 0.78%) and Asian Paints Ltd.(down 0.63%) were trading in the red.
