NEW DELHI: Mining stocks were trading higher on Thursday at 10:34AM
Aro Granite Industries Ltd.(up 4.82%), 20 Microns Ltd.(up 2.82%), MOIL Ltd.(up 2.52%), Lexus Granito(India)Ltd.(up 2.37%), Ashapura Minechem Ltd.(up 1.43%), The Orissa Minerals Development Company Ltd.(up 1.31%), Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation Ltd.(up 0.93%), KIOCL Ltd.(up 0.72%), Sandur Manganese & Iron Ores Ltd.(up 0.60%) and NMDC Ltd.(up 0.34%) were among the top gainers.
Madhav Marbles & Granites Ltd.(down 1.77%), Oriental Trimex Ltd.(down 1.09%) and Pokarna Ltd.(down 0.90%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 34.55 points up at 22182.45, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 31.49 points at 72975.17 at around 10:34AM.
Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 3.45%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 2.85%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 1.87%), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 1.83%), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 1.7%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 1.28%), Tata Steel Ltd.(up 1.16%), Eicher Motors Ltd.(up 1.14%), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 1.11%) and LTIMindtree Ltd.(up 1.02%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 1.48%), Nestle India Ltd.(down 1.37%), Axis Bank Ltd.(down 1.17%), Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(down 0.93%), Titan Company Ltd.(down 0.81%), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(down 0.67%), ITC Ltd.(down 0.52%), Britannia Industries Ltd.(down 0.38%), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 0.36%) and Cipla Ltd.(down 0.35%) were trading in the red.
