Indo Tech Transformers Ltd.(up 10.00%), Transformers & Rectifiers(India)Ltd.(up 5.00%), PTC India Ltd.(up 4.59%), Inox Wind Ltd.(up 4.55%), Power and Instrumentation(Gujarat)Ltd.(up 4.45%), Inox Wind Energy Ltd.(up 3.98%), GE T&D India Ltd.(up 2.62%), Kalpataru Projects International Ltd.(up 2.43%), Karma Energy Ltd.(up 1.96%) and Indowind Energy Ltd.(up 1.13%) stood among the top gainers.
Suzlon Energy Ltd.(down 4.38%), Jyoti Structures Ltd.(down 4.30%), Energy Development Company Ltd.(down 3.28%), SJVN Ltd.(down 2.94%), NHPC Ltd.(down 2.63%), Orient Green Power Company Ltd.(down 2.39%), RattanIndia Power Ltd.(down 2.29%), Reliance Power Ltd.(down 2.27%), KPI Green Energy Ltd.(down 1.80%) and India Power Corporation Ltd.(down 1.16%) were among the top losers of the day.
The NSE Nifty50 index ended 151.16 points up at 22147.0, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed up 599.34 points at 73088.33.
Bajaj Finance Ltd.(up 3.29%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 2.87%), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(up 2.47%), HDFC Bank Ltd.(up 2.45%), JSW Steel Ltd.(up 2.37%), Grasim Industries Ltd.(up 2.12%), UPL Ltd.(up 1.92%), Wipro Ltd.(up 1.9%), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(up 1.84%) and Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(up 1.58%) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Bajaj Auto Ltd.(down 2.41%), HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 1.32%), Divi’s Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.01%), Nestle India Ltd.(down 1.01%), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(down 0.93%), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(down 0.92%), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(down 0.89%), Tata Motors Ltd.(down 0.84%), LTIMindtree Ltd.(down 0.78%) and Coal India Ltd.(down 0.76%) closed in the red.
