NEW DELHI: Power stocks were trading lower on Monday at 11:25AM
NTPC Ltd.(up 4.13%), Kalpataru Projects International Ltd.(up 3.33%), Tata Power Company Ltd.(up 2.71%), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 2.58%), KPI Green Energy Ltd.(up 2.49%), CESC Ltd.(up 2.35%), Transformers & Rectifiers(India)Ltd.(up 1.98%), SJVN Ltd.(up 1.53%), GE Power India Ltd.(up 1.34%) and JSW Energy Ltd.(up 1.18%) were among the top gainers.
Inox Wind Energy Ltd.(down 5.00%), Inox Wind Ltd.(down 5.00%), Jyoti Structures Ltd.(down 4.91%), Suzlon Energy Ltd.(down 4.44%), GE T&D India Ltd.(down 3.31%), India Power Corporation Ltd.(down 3.28%), Indo Tech Transformers Ltd.(down 3.00%), Orient Green Power Company Ltd.(down 2.82%), Voltamp Transformers Ltd.(down 2.45%) and Jaiprakash Power Ventures Ltd.(down 2.40%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 24.05 points up at 22402.45, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 59.76 points at 73865.91 at around 11:25AM.
NTPC Ltd.(up 4.09%), Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd.(up 2.8%), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 2.57%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 2.45%), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 2.07%), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 1.84%), Coal India Ltd.(up 1.43%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(up 1.12%), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(up 1.01%) and Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 0.8%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, JSW Steel Ltd.(down 2.43%), Eicher Motors Ltd.(down 1.94%), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 1.53%), Tata Steel Ltd.(down 1.33%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 1.29%), UPL Ltd.(down 1.14%), LTIMindtree Ltd.(down 0.94%), UltraTech Cement Ltd.(down 0.86%), Britannia Industries Ltd.(down 0.86%) and Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(down 0.68%) were trading in the red.
