NEW DELHI: Power stocks were trading higher on Monday at 10:09AM
Inox Wind Energy Ltd.(up 5.00%), KPI Green Energy Ltd.(up 5.00%), Transformers & Rectifiers(India)Ltd.(up 5.00%), Indo Tech Transformers Ltd.(up 5.00%), Power and Instrumentation(Gujarat)Ltd.(up 4.80%), PTC India Ltd.(up 4.69%), Voltamp Transformers Ltd.(up 4.62%), GE Power India Ltd.(up 4.39%), KEC International Ltd.(up 3.18%) and Energy Development Company Ltd.(up 2.55%) were among the top gainers.
Neueon Towers Ltd.(down 4.88%), NTPC Ltd.(down 1.49%), Reliance Power Ltd.(down 0.90%), Hitachi Energy India Ltd.(down 0.61%) and Kalpataru Projects International Ltd.(down 0.25%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 79.8 points up at 22226.8, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 219.43 points at 73307.76 at around 10:09AM.
Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 3.46%), UltraTech Cement Ltd.(up 1.89%), Wipro Ltd.(up 1.78%), Axis Bank Ltd.(up 1.68%), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(up 1.5%), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(up 1.42%), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 1.32%), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(up 1.28%), HCL Technologies Ltd.(up 1.21%) and SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 1.19%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, NTPC Ltd.(down 1.4%), HDFC Bank Ltd.(down 0.93%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 0.66%), JSW Steel Ltd.(down 0.54%), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(down 0.32%), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 0.31%), ITC Ltd.(down 0.18%), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 0.11%) and Titan Company Ltd.(down 0.06%) were trading in the red.
