Transformers & Rectifiers(India)Ltd.(up 5.00%), Jaiprakash Power Ventures Ltd.(up 4.98%), Jyoti Structures Ltd.(up 4.97%), Energy Development Company Ltd.(up 4.83%), Torrent Power Ltd.(up 4.04%), CESC Ltd.(up 3.35%), RattanIndia Power Ltd.(up 2.85%), GE T&D India Ltd.(up 2.68%), SJVN Ltd.(up 2.16%) and Karma Energy Ltd.(up 1.96%) were among the top gainers.
Neueon Towers Ltd.(down 5.13%), KPI Green Energy Ltd.(down 5.00%), Hitachi Energy India Ltd.(down 2.09%), Inox Wind Ltd.(down 0.88%), GE Power India Ltd.(down 0.86%), NLC India Ltd.(down 0.72%), Kalpataru Projects International Ltd.(down 0.40%), JSW Energy Ltd.(down 0.22%), Adani Energy Solutions Ltd.(down 0.20%) and Adani Green Energy Ltd.(down 0.19%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 112.21 points up at 22532.15, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 526.52 points at 74256.68 at around 10:44AM.
IndusInd Bank Ltd.(up 2.3%), ICICI Bank Ltd.(up 2.27%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 1.88%), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(up 1.78%), Tata Steel Ltd.(up 1.57%), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 1.53%), UltraTech Cement Ltd.(up 1.47%), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 1.4%), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(up 1.34%) and JSW Steel Ltd.(up 1.3%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(down 6.49%), HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 5.97%), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 1.51%), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(down 1.46%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 0.87%), LTIMindtree Ltd.(down 0.76%), Cipla Ltd.(down 0.6%), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 0.54%), Eicher Motors Ltd.(down 0.51%) and Wipro Ltd.(down 0.36%) were trading in the red.
