Domestic benchmark index NSE Nifty ended 135.1 points up at 22462.0, while the BSE Sensex closed 363.2 points up at 74014.55.
On the other hand, Nupur Recyclers, Action Const., Hind Copper, Cochin Shipyard and Onelife Capital stocks hit their fresh 52-week highs today.
In the Nifty 50 index, JSW Steel, Tata Steel, Divis Labs, Shriram Finance and Adani Ports SEZ were among the top gainers on the NSE in the today’s trade.
Meanwhile, Eicher Motors, Titan Company, Nestle India, Bajaj Auto and LTIMindtree were among the top losers of the day.
