Stocks Are Wavering Ahead of CPI Data

The stock market wavered Tuesday as Wall Street braced for two of the last major inflation reports of the year later this week.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 141 points, or 0.3%. The S&P 500 was up 0.1%. The Nasdaq Composite was up 0.7%.

The yield on the 2-year Treasury note was up to 4.145%. The 10-year yield was up to 4.227%.
