US Stock Market Live: Dow up 250 points, S&P and Nasdaq hold

US Stock Market Live: The Dow Jones Industrial Average, the Nasdaq Composite Index and S&P are back up in the green after slipping into the red briefly, an hour after opening bell on Wall Street. Stocks had received a boost on Thursday as bond yields fell in anticipation of more rate cuts from the US Federal Reserve, after some disappointing macro data. However, the Federal Reserve chair warned that interest rates may remain higher for long as the economy navigates a period of heightened uncertainty, volatile inflation and persistent supply shocks. US President Donald Trump said that the US is set to receive huge amounts of FDI, at the conclusion of his trip to the Middle East.
