Here’s what CNBC TV’s producers were watching as the S & P 500 dipped on Tuesday, and what’s on the radar for the next session. Another day, another inflation number The December producer price index, which measures inflation on stuff before it gets to the consumer, will be out at 8:30 a.m. ET. We’ll cover the reading live on ” Squawk Box ” with Becky Quick, Andrew Ross Sorkin and Joe Kernen. Bank earnings Bank of America ‘s earnings report will be featured live on “Squawk Box.” The stock has gained 11.6% over the past three months. Shares hit a 52-week high on Jan. 5, but they’re down 5% from that level. Citigroup has advanced 21% in the past three months. Shares are down 6% from the high reached last week. Wells Fargo has jumped 18.5% in the past three months. The stock is down 4.3% from the Jan. 5 high. C 3M mountain Citigroup shares in the past three months Shake Shack The ” Fast Money ” team was all over this one like sauce on a K-Shack BBQ Burger . The stock is on a nine-day win streak. Shake Shack shares have gained 23% in that time period. Health care Jim Cramer and the ” Mad Money ” team have been on the left coast in the beautiful city by the bay interviewing some of the biggest names in the industry during JPMorgan’s Health Conference in San Francisco. The Pharma, Biotech and Life Sciences S & P Industry is up about 15% in three months. On Tuesday, Cramer spoke with the CEO of Novartis , Dr. Vasant Narasimhan. That stock is up 2.7% so far in 2026. It hit a new high last week. Narasimhan told Cramer about how artificial intelligence is making studies go faster, but he warns investors and artificial intelligence backers that it’s going to take time before the new technology is really as powerful and trustworthy as hoped. Bob Bradway, CEO of Amgen , was also on the guest list. That stock has gained nearly 11% in three months, and it’s off 6% from last month’s high. The company has just released positive results for MariTide, a weight-loss drug with a once-a-month injection. AMGN 3M mountain Amgen in the past three months Canada’s PM goes to China Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney will meet China’s President Xi Jinping on Wednesday. China is Canada’s second biggest trading partner after its neighbors to the south, the good old U.S. of A. One example: CCM. The hockey equipment company is not public, but it makes gear in China. What’s more Canadian than hockey gear, eh? The iShares MSCI Canada ETF (EWC) is up almost 40% in a year. It hit a new high on Tuesday.
