NEW DELHI: Shares of Emkay Global, DC Infotech, GKW Ltd, Arvee Laboratories and Vedanta, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:29AM(IST)on NSE.
Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 55.96 points to 22698.7 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.
However, stocks such as Digjam L, Melstar Info, Universus Photo, Keerti Knowledge and 3rd Rock MultiMedia, touched their fresh 52-week low.
Overall, 24 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 26 traded in the red.
In the Nifty 50 index, BPCL, Hindalco, Coal India Ltd, Kotak Bank and ONGC were among top gainers, while Divis Labs, HDFC Life, Cipla, Britannia and Sun Pharma traded in the red.
The BSE Sensex was trading 209.79 points up at 74893.49 at 10:29AM(IST).
Traders were seen piling up positions in Cables, Telecommunications, Airlines, Mining and Gas & Petroleum sectors, while selling was visible in FMCG, Agro Processing, Defence, Construction and Trading sectors.
