Here’s what CNBC TV’s producers were watching as the Dow Industrials snapped a five-day win streak, and what’s on the radar for the next session. The jobs report July’s number comes out at 8:30 a.m. ET. We’ll have the data live on ” Squawk Box ” with Becky Quick, Andrew Ross Sorkin, and Joe Kernen. The Dow Jones consensus estimate is for 83,000. It’s a hot topic on the prediction market website Kalshi. Of those putting money down, 34% think the number will come in above 80,000. We’ll be waiting, watching and ready to report Friday morning. The Great American Consumer “Mad Money” man Jim Cramer hit the theme Thursday night on the big show. He said, “The consumer is totally strong right now.” Cramer cited positive statements from Wells Fargo and Bank of America on consumers. Then he moved on to numbers from Expedia and Booking Holdings showing high travel demand. Cramer thinks Capital One is one place for people to invest in the American consumer. The stock is down 9% this year and off 15% from the January high. He also likes Ralph Lauren and Williams-Sonoma . Ralph Lauren is up about 12% so far this year, and shares are down 6% from the June high. Williams-Sonoma is up 38% in 2026, off 2.4% from Wednesday’s high. More on this part of the economy, Friday on ” Morning Call ” with Morgan Brennan, live at 5 a.m. WSM YTD mountain Williams-Sonoma in 2026 Under Armour The quarterly report comes out Friday morning on “Squawk Box.” Shares are flat in three months. Under Armour is down 20% from the Feb. 20 high. Fluor and the industrials Fluor ‘s quarterly report will be on “Squawk Box” as well. The Irving, Texas based construction and engineering company is down 10% in three months. The stock is 11% from the 52-week high hit in late June. The S & P Industrials sector hit a new high this week. FLR 3M mountain Fluor in the past three months Take-Two Interactive The video-game company, which owns Rockstar Games — the maker of the popular Grand Theft Auto game series in which players are encouraged to break the law — is up 4.7% in three months. The new GTA, as the kids say, is due out in November after a delay. Take-Two shares hit a high a month ago, but they have fallen 11% since.
