Here’s what CNBC TV’s producers were watching as the Dow Industrials posted its fifth straight winning month, and what’s on the radar for the next session. Apple turnover John Ternus officially takes over as CEO Tuesday. Apple was up more than 2,000% during Tim Cook’s years at the helm, starting in 2011. In the last year, it is up 36%. It is down 8% from the July high. AAPL 1Y mountain Apple in 12 months August auto sales CNBC TV’s Phil LeBeau will be watching for the numbers as they come in from certain automakers. Here’s the full performance list from the sector. Honda is up 6% in a month. Shares are down 8.4% from the high. Toyota is up about 4% in a month. The stock is off 21% from the February high. GM is down almost 3% in a month. Shares are off 6% from the July high. Stellantis is down 4% in a month. It’s off 55% from the December high. Ford is down 5% in a month. Shares are down 21% from the May high. Tesla is up 18% in a month, and it’s down 26% from the December high. Data centers Jim Cramer of “Mad Money” is focusing again on the data center opportunity for investors. This time it’s from a different angle. He spoke with Jennifer Scanlon, CEO of UL Solutions . The company tests all the stuff that goes in those data centers. UL Solutions is in the S & P Midcap 400 . It’s another case of Cramer going in-depth on an investment opportunity many investors may not be able to learn about any other way. “The data center opportunity is incredible and there are different audiences for this from energy to components,” Scanlon told Cramer, “and different ways which energy and chips are being packaged in a small space.” The stock was down more than 18% in August and is now 30% from the 52-week high. ULS 1M mountain UL Solutions in the past month Medtronic reports on ‘Squawk Box’ The medical device maker is up about 23% in three months. Medtronic shares are off15% from the November high. Nio reports on ‘Squawk Box’ Shares of the Chinese EV maker are down about 25% in three months. Nio is 50% from the October high. NIO 3M mountain Nio shares in the past three months Dude, you’re getting Dell’s earnings on ‘Closing Bell: Overtime’ The stock is up 8% in three months. Dell hit a high three weeks ago, but the stock is down 11% since. Palo Alto Networks reports after the bell The stock is up 35% in three months. It had a big pick-up in August, up 15%. Palo Alto hit a high three weeks ago. The stock is 4% off the high mark.
