NEW DELHI: Shares of Landmark Prop, Raymond, BEML, Ahluwalia Contracts and Shilpa Medicare, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 11:00AM(IST)on NSE.
Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 54.36 points to 24247.8 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.
However, stocks such as Future Supply Chain, Remsons Ind, MEP Infrastructure, Praxis Home Retail and Filatex Fashions, touched their fresh 52-week low.
Overall, 32 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 18 traded in the red.
In the Nifty 50 index, ONGC, Divis Labs, L&T, Cipla and Hindalco were among top gainers, while HDFC Bank, Titan Company, M&M, Tata Steel and UltraTech Cem. traded in the red.
The BSE Sensex was trading 304.74 points down at 79744.93 at 11:00AM(IST).
Traders were seen piling up positions in Irrigation & Allied Services, Fertilisers, Packaging, Petrochemicals and Defence sectors, while selling was visible in Beverages – Alcoholic, Tobacco, Airlines, Auto and Gems and Jewellery sectors.
