Stock Market LIVE on Monday, July 29: Benchmarks Nifty50 and Sensex registered fresh all-time highs in intra-day trades on on Monday led by a strong rally in banking sharess and Larsen &Toubro.
The BSE Sensex hit a new all-time high at 81,908.43, and was quoting flat around at 81,400 levels. The Nifty 50 index hit a summit at 24,999.75, and then hovered around 24,860 levels.
L&T, SBI, ICICI Bank were the top gainers while Titan, Tech Mahindra, Bharti Airtel were the top laggards on BSE.
Similarly, on NSE, L&T, SBI and ICICI Bank were the top gainers while Tata Consumer, Cipla, and Titan were the top laggards.
In the broader market, the BSE MidCap index gained 0.4 per cent, while the SmallCap jumped 0.8 per cent.
The Nifty PSU Bank was the top gainer, up over 3 per cent, followed by Realty (up 1.68 per cent).
