BNB (CRYPTO: BNB) trades around $715, with a market capitalization near $95.25 billion. The token is down 1% today but remains up nearly 4% over the past week. BNB ranks fourth among cryptocurrencies by market cap, behind Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Tether.
Over the same week, Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) is essentially flat at 0%, XRP (CRYPTO: XRP) is up 0.16%, and Solana (CRYPTO: SOL) is down 0.39%. So what pulled an exchange token ahead of three networks, and does one week mean anything?
BNB Reclaimed Its $100 Billion Market Cap
BNB reached its all-time high of $1,370 on October 13, 2025, during a liquidation event that hit the broader crypto market. With roughly 133 million tokens in circulation, BNB’s market value was close to $190 billion at the time. At $715 now, the token remains nearly 48% below that record and would need a 91.6% gain to return. The more immediate test has been the $100 billion market-cap level, which BNB crossed earlier this week before falling back to about $95.25 billion.
The move above $100 billion looked encouraging, but BNB could not hold the milestone for long. The token gave up some of its gains within hours, dropping back below the threshold within days. The next question is whether buyers can push the market cap back above $100 billion and keep it there.

BNB is an exchange token tied closely to Binance, so its use and demand are connected to trading activity, reduced fees for holders, Binance programs, and applications built around the exchange ecosystem. That gives BNB a different source of demand from Bitcoin, XRP, and Solana. BNB Chain has also handled close to $3 billion in weekly tokenized stock trading volume this year, giving BNB exposure to activity that does not directly affect the other three assets.
