What Happened?

CoreWeave (CRWV:NASDAQ) CEO Michael Intrator and entities linked to him have sold nearly $1 billion of stock since the IPO in March last year, Reuters reports.

The filings show more than 10 million shares were sold, which began about two months after the stock hit a record high in June 2025.

Most of the sales were made under prearranged trading plans, which let executives sell on a preset schedule, so they do not necessarily reflect management’s view of the business.

About $40 million was not part of those plans and originated from sell-to-cover sales, where shares are sold to pay taxes on vested stock.

CoreWeave stock lost about 24% last week as investors worried about heavy spending and the debt needed to fund it, while bets on interest-rate hikes are rising.

As of Thursday’s close, the company was valued around $38 billion, and CoreWeave did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The company also said near-term capacity is effectively sold out.
