TAYLOR Swift was on screen for just 54 seconds of CBS Sports’ Super Bowl LVIII coverage.

But sports radio personality Chris Russo has ripped into the network for what he perceives as its over-the-top coverage of the pop megastar.

“They overdid it. I mean, I don’t care if it’s only a split-second,” Russo said on his SiriusXM radio show.

“They must’ve gone to that suite for Taylor Swift 9,000 times – way over the top.

“And I’m not one of those…Listen, I think it’s too much. I’m not that into it.”

According to a data analyst, Swift was on the CBS broadcast just 12 times total, for just 0.36% of the total four hours and eight minutes of game time.

But this did not matter at all to ESPN First Take star Russo, despite his support of Swift’s relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

“I do think that’s a caring relationship, which I don’t think it’s fake; that I like,” he added.

“I’ve seen it again on the field; I think there’s a future there, but they went to her way, way too many times.

“I didn’t count the amount of shots to that suite – it had to be 10 or 12 in the course of the game.

“It’s way over the top…It’s not so much the length; it’s just going to (her suite).

“All they have to do is go there for a second. And if you only go there for 38 seconds, that means you can still go there 25 times.”

Russo’s rant drew a mixed response from NFL fans on social media.

“Come on. He knows it will stir up “the mob” and drive engagement. It’s the whole reason he’s talking about it,” one fan said.

“It was 54 seconds of a 4 hr show and it was too much for him?” another said.

“He’s accurate,” a third added.
