NEW DELHI: Mining stocks were trading higher on Tuesday at 10:14AM
Aro Granite Industries Ltd.(up 3.92%), The Orissa Minerals Development Company Ltd.(up 1.80%), NMDC Ltd.(up 1.06%), Ashapura Minechem Ltd.(up 0.95%), Lexus Granito(India)Ltd.(up 0.86%), Sandur Manganese & Iron Ores Ltd.(up 0.74%), Coal India Ltd.(up 0.58%), 20 Microns Ltd.(up 0.41%), Madhav Marbles & Granites Ltd.(up 0.36%) and KIOCL Ltd.(up 0.20%) were among the top gainers.
Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation Ltd.(down 1.36%), MOIL Ltd.(down 0.70%), Oriental Trimex Ltd.(down 0.57%) and Pokarna Ltd.(down 0.46%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 84.05 points up at 22727.45, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 249.57 points at 74920.85 at around 10:14AM.
Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 3.84%), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(up 2.35%), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 1.93%), Tata Motors Ltd.(up 1.71%), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 1.69%), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(up 1.59%), Divi’s Laboratories Ltd.(up 1.57%), Eicher Motors Ltd.(up 1.56%), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 1.09%) and Asian Paints Ltd.(up 0.91%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Tata Steel Ltd.(down 0.6%), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(down 0.49%), JSW Steel Ltd.(down 0.44%), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 0.44%), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 0.35%), Grasim Industries Ltd.(down 0.33%), Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(down 0.23%), Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.22%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(down 0.21%) and Infosys Ltd.(down 0.2%) were trading in the red.
