NEW DELHI: Power stocks were trading lower on Wednesday at 09:59AM
KPI Green Energy Ltd.(up 5.00%), Indo Tech Transformers Ltd.(up 2.80%), Hitachi Energy India Ltd.(up 2.05%), Voltamp Transformers Ltd.(up 1.82%), Kalpataru Projects International Ltd.(up 1.79%), GE T&D India Ltd.(up 1.61%), Inox Wind Energy Ltd.(up 1.33%), Jyoti Structures Ltd.(up 1.02%), Jaiprakash Power Ventures Ltd.(up 0.99%) and Tata Power Company Ltd.(up 0.76%) were among the top gainers.
Orient Green Power Company Ltd.(down 2.05%), Torrent Power Ltd.(down 1.95%), Indowind Energy Ltd.(down 1.95%), Energy Development Company Ltd.(down 1.88%), Transformers & Rectifiers(India)Ltd.(down 1.76%), SJVN Ltd.(down 1.39%), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 1.32%), Karma Energy Ltd.(down 1.30%), NLC India Ltd.(down 1.30%) and Gujarat Industries Power Company Ltd.(down 1.08%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 43.46 points up at 22240.4, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 133.44 points at 73190.84 at around 09:59AM.
Tata Steel Ltd.(up 3.2%), JSW Steel Ltd.(up 2.9%), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 2.25%), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(up 1.45%), ICICI Bank Ltd.(up 1.36%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 1.27%), Eicher Motors Ltd.(up 1.15%), Grasim Industries Ltd.(up 1.04%), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(up 0.91%) and Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 0.91%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(down 1.69%), Infosys Ltd.(down 1.34%), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 1.32%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 0.96%), HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 0.72%), NTPC Ltd.(down 0.5%), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(down 0.46%), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(down 0.44%), Axis Bank Ltd.(down 0.36%) and Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.33%) were trading in the red.
