NEW DELHI: Sugar stocks were trading lower on Tuesday at 10:34AM
DCM Shriram Industries Ltd.(up 4.10%), Bannari Amman Sugars Ltd.(up 1.47%), Uttam Sugar Mills Ltd.(up 0.62%) and Kothari Sugars & Chemicals Ltd.(up 0.17%) were among the top gainers.
Triveni Engineering & Industries Ltd.(down 1.58%), KM Sugar Mills Ltd.(down 1.55%), Vishwaraj Sugar Industries Ltd.(down 1.48%), Dalmia Bharat Sugar and Industries Ltd.(down 1.17%), Bajaj Hindusthan Sugar Ltd.(down 0.97%), Shree Renuka Sugars Ltd.(down 0.88%), Rana Sugars Ltd.(down 0.87%), Dhampur Sugar Mills Ltd.(down 0.68%), Rajshree Sugars & Chemicals Ltd.(down 0.66%) and Ugar Sugar Works Ltd.(down 0.56%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 91.9 points up at 22735.3, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 281.97 points at 74953.25 at around 10:34AM.
Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 3.92%), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(up 2.37%), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 1.85%), Tata Motors Ltd.(up 1.67%), Divi’s Laboratories Ltd.(up 1.5%), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 1.46%), Eicher Motors Ltd.(up 1.43%), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(up 1.28%), Asian Paints Ltd.(up 1.16%) and IndusInd Bank Ltd.(up 1.05%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Tata Steel Ltd.(down 0.87%), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 0.8%), JSW Steel Ltd.(down 0.56%), NTPC Ltd.(down 0.56%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(down 0.41%), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 0.38%), Infosys Ltd.(down 0.3%), HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 0.24%), Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.21%) and State Bank of India(down 0.16%) were trading in the red.
