Good morning. Markets got off to a quiet start after the S&P 500 (^GSPC) notched a record high the day before. The tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite (^IXIC) led the major indexes with a 0.2% gain. The Dow Jones Industrial Average (^DJI) slipped below the flat line after retail sales unexpectedly fell in July.
