Here’s what CNBC TV’s producers were watching as Treasury yields kept stocks under pressure, and what’s on the radar for the next session. Heavy hitters As the major league baseball playoffs began, there was also a great line-up behind President Trump after an unprecedented meeting on artificial intelligence. On the list: Elon Musk, Jensen Huang, Mark Zuckerberg, and Sundar Pichai. Shares of SpaceX are off 34% from the June high, shortly after the stock’s IPO take-off. Shares of Tesla are down 30% from the December high. Nvidia is now down 4% from the May high. The company announced a big stock buyback on Monday. Alphabet is off 16.5% from the May high. Meta Platforms is now off 5% from its latest high. The stock is up 29% in September. META 1M mountain Meta Platforms in the past month Cramer’s bank to watch After a question about the financials, Jim Cramer told viewers to take a good look at Goldman Sachs . The “Mad Money” man believes David Solomon still has room to run and will manage to make the stock go higher. Shares are up more than 300% since Solomon took over as CEO eight years ago. The gain is in the 400% range if you count total return, which includes the dividends. The stock is off 20% from the June 15 high. Cramer’s timing on the stock has been solid. He bought it for his charitable trust back in March. It has gained 15% since the day he made the call. Bank of America and Citigroup are also down double-digits from their highs. JPMorgan is off 8.6% from its high. Bonds in the U.S.A. The 2-year yield hit a 28-month high. It was last trading at 4.879%. The 10-year yield hit a 19-year high, going back to 2007. It last traded at 5.234%. The 30-year yield touched highs not seen since back in 2002. It topped 5.6% at the high. US30Y 5D mountain The US 30-year yield in the past five days Big Data Wednesday ADP private payrolls report: The Dow Jones consensus calls for 68,000. Last month saw a gain of 38,000. The numbers comes out live on “Squawk Box” at 8:15 a.m. The August personal consumption expenditures price index, a key measure of inflation, is due out at 8:30 a.m. live on “Squawk Box.” Dow Jones consensus estimates call for a jump of 0.3% on a month-to-month basis. The year-over-year number is expected to be 3.7%. Big Ag reports in the morning live on ‘Squawk Box’ Cal-Maine Foods reports before the bell. The big egg producer is down about 14% in three months. It is down 30% in a year. Conagra is also reporting. The stock is up 1% in three months. It’s down 30% from the February high. CALM 3M mountain Cal-Maine Foods in the past three months Micron The big tech company reports after the bell Wednesday, live on “Closing Bell: Overtime.” CNBC TV’s Seema Mody will have the numbers. The stock is down 7% in three months. Shares are off 15% from the June 25 high.
