CoreWeave (NASDAQ:CRWV) stock is at $70.37 down 10% in morning trading, as a spike in its bond yields revives questions about how the AI-focused cloud provider pays for its chips. Lenders are demanding a much higher return to hold the company’s unsecured debt, and CoreWeave stock is adjusting alongside them. Credit risk has moved to the center of the debate over debt-funded AI buildouts, and CoreWeave leads that line.
Meanwhile, Nebius Group (NASDAQ:NBIS) stock is at $194.79, down 6%, a smaller decline than the one hitting CoreWeave. Additionally, Oracle (NYSE:ORCL) stock is at $139.69, down 2%, the smallest drop of the three AI infrastructure names.
The First Trust Cloud Computing ETF (NASDAQ:SKYY) is unchanged, staying steady even though CoreWeave and Oracle both sit among its holdings. Across tech more broadly, the Invesco QQQ Trust (NASDAQ:QQQ) is down 0.7%, a fraction of the losses in the AI cloud names. That gap shows how narrowly the pressure is landing within AI infrastructure.

CoreWeave’s unsecured bonds saw their yield touch 15% in the prior session before closing at a high, a level investor Chamath Palihapitiya published while arguing that the AI expansion may be creating a private credit bubble. Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA) CEO Elon Musk replied. He responded to that post with a single word: “Yikes.” A yield at that level signals that bondholders want to be paid well for lending to the company without collateral behind them.
