JPMorgan’s market intelligence team has reversed its cautious stance on equities, shifting to a tactically bullish position with technology stocks at the center of the call, according to MarketWatch.

The team, led by Andrew Tyler, pulled back to a neutral stance on stocks in late August, citing numerous headwinds that threatened market performance, according to MarketWatch. Now, with the month nearly over, the group has grown more optimistic, citing an anticipated steadying of bond markets and continued softness in oil prices.

The team is also looking to upcoming data releases and third-quarter earnings growth as potential drivers of further market gains, according to MarketWatch.
