Knowit came into this Q3 2026 report with a stock that had already been warming up, rising roughly 36% over the past three months to SEK120 at Friday’s close. The company then printed a clean headline for a consulting and IT services group in reset mode: Q3 revenue of about SEK 1.2b and net income of SEK 35m, with adjusted EBITDA margins improving. The share price move now has to be weighed against that simple reality. Earnings are stabilising while the long history of trailing losses still hangs over the story.

Like the earnings rebound at Knowit but worried about the long trail of past losses and the risk of a stalled turnaround? Compare this Q3 update with our list of solid balance sheet and fundamentals stocks (204 results).

Knowit’s AI, Products And Public Sector Ambition On Trial

“Expansion of Knowit’s AI-driven offerings across consulting and internal delivery, including reshaped UX work in Experience and AI enabled data and defense projects, creates scope for higher value contracts and improved net margins as more work is delivered with the same or lower cost base.”

Knowit is starting to put this ambition into the numbers. Group adjusted EBITDA margin moved to 6.7% while revenue stayed flat, which points to more being earned from roughly the same top line. Products at a 16.2% margin and defense related work in Connectivity and Products show AI and IP rich projects gaining weight, even if they are not yet large enough to shift group profitability dramatically.

Testing Concerns On Legacy Consulting And Pricing Power

“Prolonged weak profitability in parts of the consulting portfolio, such as the Insight business area where cautious customer behavior and slow decision making have held margins low, could offset gains from higher utilization and weigh on group earnings and return on invested capital.”

Insight is not out of the woods, although Q3 offers some relief. Adjusted EBITDA margin improved to 2.1% from a loss, which helps the Knowit group but still leaves a thin cushion compared with Solutions or Products. Group margins advanced despite client hesitancy in some verticals and ongoing price pressure concerns, indicating efficiency gains and country led execution are partly offsetting the drag from weaker consulting pockets.
