Micron Technology (NASDAQ:MU) is a Hold at $983.23. The memory maker just reported the best quarter in its history, yet the stock trades 21.6% below its 52-week high of $1,254.61.
Micron sells DRAM, NAND and high-bandwidth memory (HBM), the stacked chips that feed AI accelerators, and competes with SK Hynix and Samsung. Fiscal Q4 revenue reached $54.23 billion, up 379.3% year over year, and non-GAAP EPS of $33.42 beat the $31.35 consensus. Even so, shares fell 6.7% over the past month before rebounding 5.86% in the latest session as rival SK Hynix news revived AI enthusiasm.
A 5x Forward Multiple on Sold-Out Supply
Bulls point to a forward P/E of about 5 and a PEG ratio of 0.16. Fiscal Q1 guidance calls for revenue of $61.5 billion ± $1.5 billion and non-GAAP EPS of $38.15 ± $1.00, with gross margin near 86.25%.
Visibility is unusually strong for a memory company. Over 75% of fiscal 2027 shipments are committed, and 26 strategic customer agreements run through 2030. Micron is co-designing custom HBM4E with NVIDIA (NASDAQ:NVDA), and management said “we really don’t have line of sight to when supply and demand balance.”
