NEW DELHI: Shares of Nagreeka Export, D P Abhushan, Cubex Tubings, Hercules Hoists and The Anup Engg, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 11:15AM(IST)on NSE.
Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 190.96 points to 21864.75 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.
However, stocks such as Vaxtex Cotfab, Sintex Plastics Tech, Creative Eye, Prudential Sugar and Rama Phosphates, touched their fresh 52-week low.
Overall, 9 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 41 traded in the red.
In the Nifty 50 index, Bajaj Finance, Bharti Airtel, Hindalco, Bajaj Auto and Eicher Motors were among top gainers, while BPCL, Nestle India, TCS, Cipla and Tata Consumer traded in the red.
The BSE Sensex was trading 581.87 points down at 72166.55 at 11:15AM(IST).
Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Airlines, Rubber, Learning & Education and Cables sectors, while selling was visible in Agro Processing, FMCG, Defence, Logistics and Trading sectors.
