The stock market continued to grind higher on Friday as Wall Street awaited updates on President Donald Trump’s phone call with China’s Xi Jinping.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 33 points, or 0.1%, after trading up 100 points earlier in the morning. The S&P 500 was up 0.1%. The Nasdaq Composite was up 0.2%.
The big three indexes finished Thursday’s session with fresh closing highs, so any move higher would be another milestone close.
