Here’s what CNBC TV’s producers were watching as a tame consumer inflation report lifted the S & P 500, and what’s on the radar for the next session. Data center stocks If you missed Jim Cramer of “Mad Money” Wednesday night, one of his nuggets of wisdom was the data center stock sector. He said, “As long as rates stay tamed, I think we can expect more and more analysts pounding the table on the data center stocks.” Vertiv is down 24% from the May 14 high. Shares are up almost 20% in August. Iron Mountain is off 7.6% from the June 24 high. Equinix is down 5% from the April 24 high. The stock is up almost 5% in August. The iShares U.S. Digital Infrastructure and Real Estate ETF (IDGT) is down 8% from the June 2 high. It is up 8% in August. The Global X Data Center & Digital Infrastructure (DTCR) is off 12.5% from the June 3 high. The ETF is up 4.5% in August. Digital Realty Trust is down 5% from the April 24 high. The stock is up 4.5% in August. The Pacer Data & Infrastructure Real Estate ETF (SRVR) is off 10% from the May high. It is up 4% in August. We’ll be following this Thursday. VRT 1M mountain Vertiv in the past month Big data ” Squawk Box ” will have jobless claims at 8:30 a.m. ET. The consensus estimate is for 204,000 claims. On Kalshi, 24% of participants say it’ll be above the 205,000 mark. The producer price index comes out at 8:30 a.m. as well. The Dow Jones consensus calls for a 0.2% uptick. Applied Materials reports after the bell Thursday on ‘Closing Bell: Overtime’ The stock is up 27% in three months. Applied Materials shares are off 26% from the June 30 high. AMAT 3M mountain Applied Materials in three months SK Hynix CNBC will have a special report on SK Hynix in South Korea. The story focuses on a $729 billion spending splurge that can be seen throughout the country. The U.S. traded shares listed on the Nasdaq on July 10. On July 14, the price hit a high of $194.80, and shares are now off 21% from that level. Coverage starts on “Morning Call” at 5 a.m. with Morgan Brennan. Apple deep in the heart of Texas A new manufacturing center will be opening in Houston on Thursday. It is part of the company’s $600 billion investment in U.S. manufacturing. The stock is off 12% from the July 29 high. Apple is up 11% so far in 2026. AAPL YTD mountain Apple in 2026 Hitting new highs Charles Schwab hit an all-time high on Wednesday. The stock is up 21% in three months. US Bancorp hit an all-time high. Shares are up 19% in three months. Palo Alto Networks hit an all-time high. The stock is up 6% in three days, and shares are up almost 80% in three months. Cerebras The chipmaker missed on revenue in the latest quarter , but raised guidance for the full year. Shares are down 16% after hours. Cerebras shares closed at $311.07 on May 14, their first day of trading . The stock is now down 35% since opening day. CEO Andrew Feldman will be on ” Squawk on the Street ” in the 11a.m. hour with Sara Eisen and Carl Quintanilla Thursday. CBRS 1D mountain Cerebras in the past day StubHub The company wasn’t able to make a profit despite hopes the World Cup would bring in extra revenue. Revenue beat expectations but earnings missed. StubHub is down 13% after hours. The stock is off 70% from the 52-week high hit back in September of last year. Cisco The company beat earnings expectations and issued guidance ahead of analyst estimates. Shares are down 4% after hours. Cisco hit a high on June 4 and is down just 5% from that mark Wednesday night. CEO Chuck Robbins will join the 9 a.m. hour of “Squawk on the Street” on Thursday with Carl Quintanilla, David Faber and Jim Cramer.
